Althea Mason is a successful self-published romance author. She is originally from Paterson, New Jersey.  Her pen name was inspired by using the middle names her late parents. She is a passionate individual with rich life experience. A dedicated mother to six adult children and a proud grandmother of fifteen, she finds joy in family and cherishes moments spent together. 

Graduating from nursing school in Fredericksburg, Virginia, Althea Mason possesses over four decades of invaluable expertise in the nursing field. She has established Spring, Texas, as her home. 

Writing has been a lifelong passion for Althea. Her journey as a writer began at the age of sixteen when she delved into poetry and crafting inspirational messages. From the tender age of eight, she has been an ardent reader, fostering a deep appreciation for literature. Althea Mason’s literary pursuits are marked by her love for diversity and cultural richness. 

She is pursuing her literary journey full time as she ended her forty-one-year nursing career. Her desire and goal is to build a legacy for her children and grandchildren through her writing, which is her passion. 

She enjoys the fun of bringing her characters from different nationalities and cultures to life. She wants her readers to be transported to the times and places where her characters live, love and experience turmoil.
